Sadly, even though my hate against the interwebs is strong, i've given up and go the easy way now. I am using my new core duo to compute all the buggy java scripts on blogger.com.
There was some stupid retard, and this blog is his fault. He walked over my x20, so i upgraded to the x60s, which is compatible to Hell 2.0.
Why do i tell you all that? Well, you profit from this fuckhead sending me to hell.
With my x20 i got some 4 hours of battery life(10W). It was an old and used battery.
You guess how i felt, when my shiny new x60s fucking switched off after 3 hours of running the boring log-in console on a fresh debian lenny installation.
So then i found out about how big Linus (shout out loud: oh my GOD) recently put all the newest high-tech and stuff in the holy linux-2.6.24 kernel, and i will show you how i managed to use this revolution to revolutionary save power, so that the x60s will consume <10W, just like my old x20.
I'm using debian lenny as a base, cause some day i thought these preconfigured packages and stuff would save time. They didn't, though.
The debian Kernel is shit, because it's too old. So the next post will show you how i built my own.
